Omar Fernando Cejas

He was born in the town of Las Peñas, province of Córdoba, Argentina. His career in artistic photography gets underway in 1969. He becomes
founding member of the Foto Club Córdoba, representing this entity since 1972.
From that time on, Cejas has participated in contests and exhibitions both within Argentina and abroad, showing his
works on their own and with others; following are some of these throughout his fruitful career:
1975 - 1st Prize Salón Olavarría - Buenos Aires
1976 - Silver Medal Award - Argentine Photography Federation
1979 - XVII Medal Salón Internacional - Fotography Society at the University of Singapur, Malasia
1980 - Honorable Mention at the 5th Salón "Liberdade" - Sao Paulo, Brasil
1987 - Biannual Individual Exhibition of Arte, Complejo Ferial, Córdoba, Argentina
2000 - Individual Exhibition at the Museum of the town of Dean Funes, Córdoba, Argentina
2000 - Exhibition at the 53rd Exposition of the Rural Society of Jesús María, Córdoba, Argentina
2001 - Exhibition - College of Construction Professionals of Córdoba
2002 - Exposition at the Museum of the Natal Home, Leopoldo Lugones, Villa de María del Río Seco
2003 - Individual Exposition at the Hotel Complex in la Cañada, Córdoba
